What is a New Build EPC?
Unlike a standard domestic EPC used for older homes, a New Build EPC must be produced by an accredited On-Construction Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA) using the full SAP methodology. It is calculated based on precise construction data, architectural plans, and on-site testing rather than the simplified assumptions used for existing buildings.
